Common Questions

  • How do I Book an Appointment

Please call or text me directly at (413)-213-2678. You may also email me at michelle@brighterdayptw.com. I offer personal care, and it starts from scheduling an appointment. I will help find a time that works for both of us.

  • Do I Need a Referral?

I am a direct access provider. In the state of Massachusetts, a referral from a physician is not required to attend Physical Therapy. At any time under my care if I feel additional medical examination or treatment is indicated, I may encourage you to see a physician or can refer you to a physician. Having said this, It is best to have an annual well visit with your physician. Physical Therapy is not a replacement for medical care.

  • Payment Options

Payment is due at, or before the time of service. I currently accept cash, check, card, FSA/HSA, or Zelle.

In order to provide the level of care and time I need with my patients, I currently do not accept insurance. I am a fee for service provider in order to focus my energy on you and your goals rather than adhere to the limitations of insurance companies.

Upon request, I will provide an itemized super bill with the codes required for you to submit to your insurance provider for possible reimbursement, using your out of network benefits for physical therapy. Please contact your insurance provider to determine your out of network benefits.

  • General Patient Policies

I will be respectful of your time, which is why I ask the same of you.

    • Please arrive on time- if you are late this takes away from my time with you.

    • Please no phone use during our session.

    • Give 48 hour notice for cancellations to avoid a late fee.

    • Always call if you will be late, or miss your visit.

  • Sick Precautions

    • masks are optional

    • I clean and disinfect rooms and high touch surfaces between appointments.

    • If a patient feels like they have a cold, but would normally continue their day, then I am fine with you coming to therapy. If you feel too ill to leave your house, I would prefer you reschedule within 4 calendar days. Please contact the clinic to discuss the best approach.

  • Free Phone Consult

Still not sure if therapy is right for you? This is a FREE 15 minute phone consult. We can briefly discuss your symptoms. You may also ask specific questions, or voice concerns.

  • Virtual Visits

Do you live far away? No problem. I offer referrals, video consults & Telehealth visits for people NOT in the surrounding area. A lot of what I do is counseling and education on what is best for your body, which you may still take advantage being far away.
